1.When is the 2021 ICD National Conference?
The 2021 ICD National Conference will be taking place online on June 3, 2021. The full-day event will start at 10 a.m. EDT.
 

2. Who typically attends the ICD National Conference?
The primary audience for the conference includes seasoned and emerging directors, as well as C-Suite and senior executives who interact with their boards or aspire to serve on one.

3. I want to attend the conference and pay the ICD member rate. Do I have to renew my membership?
Yes, in order to receive the member discount, you must be a member in good standing. Please renew your membership prior to registering for the conference.

4. Can non-members register for the 2021 ICD National Conference?
Yes, we invite both members and non-members to register.

5. Can I register a group?
Organizations who are members through an ICD Board Membership may take advantage of an exclusive group discount (minimum 8 registrations). To learn more about this preferred rate ($199 per member) and register your Board members, contact membership@icd.ca, or call Mélanie Mundle at 416-593-7741 x300.

6. Can I register on the same day as the Conference?
No, day of registrations will not be accepted. All registrations must be in by 5:00pm EDT on May 31, 2021. This cut-off will ensure that you receive your confirmation and access links ahead of the event.

7. I registered early but can no longer attend. Can I be reimbursed?
No, the ICD will not be issuing refunds for the 2021 ICD Conference.

If you are unable to attend, please note that full recordings of each session will be made available to participants in the days following the 2021 ICD National Conference.

8. Will the presentations be recorded?
Yes, session recordings will be made available to participants in the days following the 2021 ICD National Conference.

9. Will I receive continuing education units (CEUs) for attending the 2021 ICD National Conference?
Directors with the ICD.D designation are eligible for five continuing education units (CEUs) for attending the 2021 ICD National Conference.

The 2021 ICD National Conference may also be eligible for CE credits with other professional designation bodies. We encourage you to check with the organizations where you hold membership.

10. Where can I see the list of conference attendees?
While the ICD does not publish a list of attendees, this year's interactive platform will enable participants to network through 1:1 chats and small group discussions.

11. What is the ICD’s privacy policy?
The Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD), its partners and event attendees may post discussions, Tweets and pictures on various social media channels. We encourage event participants to engage in discussions via Twitter @ICDCanada and to include the hashtag #ICDConference2021. The ICD also regularly hosts events that operate under a modified Chatham House Rule – that is that contributions may be published but are not to be attributed to any individual speaker. Invitations to such events will explicitly state that the event is operating under such restrictions.

12. Are members of the media able to attend?
