  • Crisis: Preparing in a downturn

In a world characterized by geopolitical volatility, technological disruption, global pandemics and social tension, the key role of the board is to mitigate the risks and be prepared for all eventualities - before and during a crisis, while continuing to manage shareholder expectations.

In this session we will discuss themes to enhance resilience in challenging times, including governance considerations, crisis readiness, risk and lessons learned about crisis response. Our PwC specialists and guest speakers will share their expertise and actual experiences in crisis management.
  • How directors should behave in times of financial crisis

With increased inflation and a sharp rise in interest rates, we’re most likely in the midst of a recession, or at least a significant slowdown of the economy. This is also due to various pressures and uncertainties as a result of the new geopolitical order affecting supply chain and access to markets. This panel will discuss best practices for directors in these challenging times.
